Ensuring energy supply is a critical issue tied to the national economy and the well-being of the population. As a key national energy hub, Ordos has been actively advancing the development of intelligent coal mines, emphasizing the integration of smart equipment with the Industrial Internet of Things. Against this backdrop, Huo Liping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Ordos Municipal Energy Bureau, presented an in-depth interpretation of the Three-Year Action Plan for the Industrial Internet in the Coal Industry during the ceremony. The plan outlines ambitious goals, including achieving full coverage of intelligent coal mine production and comprehensive adoption of industrial Internet platforms in key industries across Ordos City by 2025. These initiatives aim to establish a solid foundation for the coal industry's high-quality development.
The launch ceremony was attended by prominent officials and industry leaders, including Wu Jianxun, Vice Mayor of Ordos City; Huo Liping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Energy Bureau; Yu Guizhong, Member of the Party Committee of the Emergency Management Bureau and Director of the Municipal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau; Gao Lingyun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Digital Investment Co., Ltd.; and Yuan Ming, General Manager for Inner Mongolia at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., who collectively witnessed this significant milestone.
As the exclusive Internet of Things operating platform for the mining sector, MineHarmony has effectively bridged protocol and equipment connectivity gaps in coal mine production, playing a pivotal role in advancing the intelligent transformation of coal mines in the Ordos region. iSoftStone, along with its subsidiary SWANLINK, has been a dedicated supporter and active participant in the development of the MineHarmony ecosystem. Leveraging the "AstroHarmony MineHarmony Operating System" and the MineHarmony Value Scenario Solution, combined with cutting-edge AI technology, they have successfully implemented over 20 MineHarmony pilot benchmark projects and completed more than 60 MineHarmony qualification certification projects, delivering significant achievements in driving the ecosystem's growth. To further strengthen cooperation and development within the MineHarmony ecosystem, iSoftStone has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Ordos City—Ordos iSoftStone Information Technology Co., Ltd. This milestone not only deepens iSoftStone’s involvement in the Ordos energy industry but also solidifies its role as a key partner in the region's intelligent energy transformation.
Under the settlement agreement, both parties will collaborate to advance AI & MineHarmony intelligent product development and application services. This partnership is designed to drive innovation in the energy industries across Ordos, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, and beyond by integrating digital industry resources such as technologies, products, brands, and talent, while establishing a robust Industrial Internet MineHarmony ecosystem and industrial cluster. With the support of the Airport Logistics Park's resources and strategic advantages, Ordos will develop the MineHarmony Software and Hardware Industrial Park. This initiative not only accelerates MineHarmony's business growth but also unlocks new opportunities for both parties, fostering mutual success and sustainable development.
